Pie and Branson - two great things

This year April 20th through the 29th, Branson Missouri is hosting the Great American Pie Contest and you can book your slot at the Hilton and join the likes of Al Roker from the Today Show. Bring your best pie recipe and you could be the recipient of a wealth of prizes including $25,000 plus a trip for two for a 4-day/3-night fun-filled vacation in Branson. They even have set up special rates and rooms blocked off just for this event.
There’s plenty to do in Branson while you’re there. While you’re staying at the Hilton Promenade, Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel or Branson Landing, you can enjoy amusement parks such as White Water, Celebration City and Silver Dollar City. There are tons of shows such as the Dixie Stampede, which is a dinner theater with 32 horses and their riders performing tricks in a 32,000 seat arena and even a haunted house. There’s even the NAIA college basketball championship, FLW Bass Tournament, and the Branson Air Show. With so many amusement parks, theaters and dining, you can find plenty to do in Branson.
If I were going to Branson I’d have to check out some of the many amusement parks and live entertainment. What better time to do it than during the pie contest? I could bring a pie and maybe even win!
