Field Trips for All

I never had Lunchables growing up and that’s too bad because they’re super cool. But hey, we didn’t really have computers either and that sucks as well. I guess I’m sounding old now but I swear I’m not! Seriously though, lunch consisted of homemade sandwiches if you were bringing your own. My favorite was olive loaf sandwiches till I got food poisoning on a field trip. That or it was a mixture of the heat, the mayo and the softball game.

Anyway, Lunchables has this great new contest called Field Trips For All. It’s the first initiative from Project Potential brought to you by Lunchables Team. They’re doing this because in the current school year over 55% of school districts are eliminating field trips and how can that happen? Field trips are some of my fondest school memories and every kid should get to experience that. So with this contest anyone over the age of 6 can submit a nomination for a classroom and 50 classrooms will get to win an educational and fun field trip! Now how cool is that? Why not nominate your child’s school? I don’t have children but I did nominate my neighbor’s classroom. She’s a joy so I think it’d be great if her classroom won the contest.
