OXIS is a company that's sole purpose is to research, create and sell products that combat the harmful effects of oxidative stress.
One of the products is Ergothioneine, which is an antioxidant that helps promote health. It's found in common things such as dairy, soil and grapes but is hard to get enough of in a daily diet.
Glutathione is another product that is being developed. It's a small molecule found in every cell and is an excellent antioxidant since it is within the cell itself. Antioxidants are a basis for good health because they neutralize free radicals. Since glutathione exists within the cells, it is in a perfect position to neutralize free radicals. All of this helps with anti-aging.
While OXIS may be at the penny stocks stage, with additional products lined up and existing anti-aging products, it's just a matter of time before they're a household name.
