I haven't been this excited about a book for quite some time. I mean sure, Swan Song and The Stand are my favorite books ever but there hasn't been an epic apocalyptic book since those two. However, I do have to give a shout out to One Second After, which while it wasn't an epic novel, it's one of my favorites as well.
The Passage comes out on Tuesday 6/8 and I have it pre-ordered (via my gift certificate from a friend Amazon, what do you think? I'm made of money!) and I am so excited I can't wait. I've read the first 15 pages and well, let's just say I wish it were here already. I only hope I'm not building it up to be disappointed but so far I have heard from others who have read it that it's that good.
