Walgreens and the Express Scripts Program

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Walgreens was in negotiations for a year now concerning the Express Scripts program. Unfortunately, the program contract expired at the end of 2011. What this means is that those people in that program would have lost out. Well, fortunately Walgreens has decided to do something about it.

This means that those that were a part of Walgreens and Express Script  had to find other providers and it was a hassle that Walgreens did not want their customers to have to go through. That is where the Walgreens Prescription Savings Club was created.

Before the new savings club was created, not only were families affected but those in the military were especially affected. See, Tricare was a part of this network and that is the provider for America's military members. Now there is help to those affected by this change.

Walgreen is offering a discounted membership to their Walgreens Prescription Savings Club and you can save tons of money. For instance, you can join during January for just $5 or only $10 for the entire family. There are over 8,000 prescriptions that you can receive and get this, there are more than 400 generic brand prescriptions that actually cost less than $1 for a week's supply! The regular price for annual membership is $20 and $35 for the whole family so join before the end of the month to save big.
