Love's Baby Soft

Okay, I admit it, I love Love's Baby Soft perfume. It reminds me of Jr High and it just smells so yummy. I didn't even know they still sold it till we were in Walmart and saw it. Honestly, there are three perfumes in the world I love more than anything, okay make that four:

1. Love's Baby Soft
2. White Shoulders
3. Obsession by Cher (don't hate and it's out of production too)
4. Anything by Givenchy

I have plenty of perfume but I love those four so much. I found the Obsession at a vendor that specializes in out of production perfume so I got that a couple of years ago. It was the one perfume I could wear and people would actually comment and ask what it was. I did wear some Fendi to work one day recently and someone asked me what it was because it smelled so nice.

With all that said, I plan to buy some Love's Baby Soft and take a trip down memory lane.

Clipix - The Next Awesome Site

I have found the coolest site. It is called clipix  and what it does is allow you to save or "clip" sites of things you love, inspirations or just something you want to revisit. I've just started but here is one of my boards that I started called Things I Want.

As you can see, it is not full yet but just give me time. The important thing is that now I won't forget where I've seen a product or something I like. Even vacation ideas are something you can clip and use. Let's say you see a great pair of shoes and you want to remember where you saw them but you don't want to take the time to bookmark an already full favorites area of your computer. Now you can simply use Clipix to save the shoes and not only will it have a picture but it'll have a description and the link!

You should honestly sign up for this because for one, it's free and secondly, it's totally awesome and useful. You can even have an area of your favorite places to visit such as social networking sites or online stores and visit each one with one easy to use site. Google Nexus S

I love my Android phone. I always had a Blackberry or an iPhone but my iPhone was used so I never had the latest updates. When I got this deal from Best Buy I got the Android for free and I absolutely love it. Not only is it the latest version, it does everything I'd want it too. I may not have Siri but I still have a personal assistant that is just like it. I can play all of the games I want to and I have yet to find an app that I can't get. Valentine's Day

We never do much on Valentine's Day because we usually combine the two holidays - that day and Rich's birthday, which is on the 18th. That way we miss the crowds and can still enjoy the day. However, this year there was a deal we really didn't want to pass up. The Grand Theater had a special viewing (I think other places did too) of This Means War. At this theater you got the movie tickets, popcorn and drinks for $25.

So, we're not exactly rolling in the money right now but we really wanted to enjoy this day. So we ate at Captain D's of all places and headed out to the beach. However, that didn't work out because it was sold out. We were very disappointed but ended up at a theater in town and got to see the movie and it was wonderful! So there was our non-traditional Valentine's Day.

Making a Change

I was offered a position in sales today and I took it. I am sure I am making the right decision although it can be scary leaving one secure place to go to another. The pay is similar although this job has commission too. The benefits are somewhat similar and that's good. Wish me luck on this new endeavor. My husband is the technology guru of the family so we spent a lot of time bonding as a family unit in front of the TV or the computer.
