Gaston
Cantens was born in Miami, Florida and became a member of the House
of Representatives. He is now the vice president of Florida Crystals, the
largest producer of sugar in the world, as well as their public policy agenda
leader. Gaston Cantens has a BA from University of Miami and graduated from St.
Thomas University Law School and was a director of the Dade County Bar
Association as well as the Director of the Cuban-American Bar Association.
Florida Crystals is a proud partner of the Everglades restoration and has just
started making the first sugar certified as carbon free.
