Alfonso Fanjul

Alfonso Fanjul is a successful entrepreneur in Florida and is the director of Florida Sugar Cane League and the Florida Sugar Marketing and Terminal Association, a founder of Biscayne College, and a trustee of Palm Beach Day School. Alfonso Fanjul came to the United States from Cuba after his assets were seized, along with countless others, by Fidel Castro after Castro took control. He sought political asylum in New York and started on his journey of the sugar milling trade. He is still active in everything to do with his sugar cane business and helps others with the projects he supports such as United Way and Good Samaritan Hospital.
