The Island of Malta

If you’re not familiar with the Island of Malta you’re in for a treat. It is situated between Gibraltar and Alexandria, and Sicily and North Africa in the Mediterranean Sea. Since Malta has sun year round, there are plenty of things to do and see and you won’t even have to spend most of your time indoors.

For instance, the outdoor living is at its best. There are world class golfing, luxury spas, a national stadium and even water sports. In fact, the diving is great because the Mediterranean Sea has a wealth of wrecks, caves and reefs that you won’t find anywhere else.  Since there are no tides in the Maltese coastal waters, it is an excellent, safe place to swim and just relax while enjoying your visit.

As far as exploring the island, you’re in for a treat. You can visit Roman ruins, temples from the Prehistoric era, walled cities, churches, medieval castles, forts and more. You can even find historical reenactments and see knights in armor, soldiers, ladies and noblemen.

You can experience local restaurants with exciting cuisine and enjoy wine bars, night clubs and casinos for nightlife excitement.  If you are looking for a little something outside of the usual nightlife fare, you may even want to try out one of the Malta escorts you can find at maltaescorts.com. While this may not be part of a family fun trip, it is certainly something you can do while traveling to Malta.

If you love shopping then you’re in luck. You can browse the open air markets, go crafts shopping or visit one of the many shopping malls with all of the essential retail offerings.

No matter what your pleasure while visiting Malta, you can find everything for every heart’s desire and enjoy one of the most unique places in the world.
