Water Beads

If you haven't heard of water beads for plants then you're missing out on something that is not only functional, but is an elegant and stylish way to display your plants.

Water beads are a polymer water substitute that works with both plants and flowers. These gorgeous little beads soak up water up to 100 times their weight. This forms eye-catching beads that come in a variety of colors. They look like glass but provide an important function for plants and flowers; they release the water slowly back into their environment. This means that they essentially water your plants and flowers for you once you have everything set up.

They are easy to use as well. You simply add them to five cups of room temperature purified water and allow them to remain there for a few hours; typically five to seven hours. Dispose of any extra water and you're done. The neat part is that you can store them for future use simply by removing them from the water and allowing them to dry. The water beads are perfect for those that are not home much and need something that waters their plants for them or for the person that wants to display a beautiful centerpiece that is impeccable in taste. No matter what your reason for using water beads, you'll love the style and functionality combined into one.
