Cheap Magazine Subscriptions

I love reading magazines and not online either; I enjoy the regular print magazines you get in the mailbox. That's why I am always on the lookout for cheap magazine subscriptions since they can get quite expensive if you buy them by the publisher's price.

Discount magazine subscriptions ensure that I get not only the best prices available but for the magazines I like best. I mean let's face it, you can't find cheap magazines at the store so it's easier to just get a subscription at a discount price. Not only do you have the magazine you want in your mailbox but you won't have to go to the store or wait for it to come out since most publish to subscribers before they hit the news stands. If you want to find cheap magazine subscriptions then check out the link that is attached and get the lowest prices around.

Sick!

I've been sick for the past two days and boy does it suck. It feels like there are tiny trolls with ice picks in my stomach. Every once in a while they go on break but then they come back, poking my stomach with their tiny ice picks. I guess it's some kind of intestinal bug and while it's better today, yesterday was awful. I had chills, I was weak, stomach pain, the works. I hope it's on the mend because I'd like to be able to do something other than stay near the bed.

Genghis Khan Book

This exciting new e novel about Genghis Khan's Treasure - The Guardian of Genghis Khan's Tomb has just been released for sale by Amazon. You may read the first three chapters free as a preview there.
If you're curious about the life of Genghis Khan then you'll love the Genghis Khan book I found. It has everything you've ever wanted to know about the mysterious Tomb of Genghis Khan and more Genghis Khan facts that will satisfy your curiosity while creating a fiction piece that is exciting and adventurous.

Did you know that finding the tomb has been an obsession for many since 1227? This tomb is believed to have a wealth of gold, silver and jewels that was supposedly buried along with him. Anyone can read a Genghis Khan biography but this novella not only has twists and turns but it's a historical fiction piece that has an ending you won't see coming.

Here is an excerpt from the description:
Now, in a remote Asian river valley, a beautiful English scientist’s chance discovery of an ancient artifact tied directly to Genghis Khan ignites a furious race among China, Russia and the United States to find that crypt. The stakes are huge, putting the young woman along with her American sponsor at the center of the confrontation.
Check it out and learn more about this ancient warrior and enjoy a well-written piece of fiction at the same time.

Speaking of School

Speaking of school where I just talked about what I'd want to write my essay on, I won't be writing any essays unless I fix things. I'm very close to having my Bachelor's Degree but over a year ago I had some issues where I decided to wait till the next semester to go. Turns out that you can't just cancel your last class online; you have to do it in person. Since I did not, even though I didn't attend school, I still owe for that class. I cannot return until I pay for a class I didn't even go to. And we all know how expensive tuition is so that is taking me a while. I think it sucks because not only did I lose a small scholarship, I'm not stuck paying for something I never used. I'd have been better off finding a way to attend and not be in this predicament.

Hopefully I can get this fixed soon and get back to Florida State and finish my degree. I have one degree but I really wanted this one too, especially since I'm so close.

Compliance

I finally got to watch Compliance tonight and it's hard to say how I feel about it. On one hand, I feel like everyone involved was incredibly stupid. But then again, how often do you hear about people going along with an idea that you wouldn't think they would? How about group mentality where one person feeds off of another and so on? I've often wondered about that kind of thing. You could say that the Nazis were simply following orders such as the woman in the movie. Does that make it right? In my opinion, it sure doesn't. Sometimes you have to question authority. If something sounds outrageous then maybe it is.

I've always thought that if I got my master's degree that I would write my essay or thesis on group mentality. That's just one of the interests I have. Now in this movie, it wasn't necessarily a group but there is still that sense of going along with something, then another person goes along with it and so on.

I can't judge the people in the movie (it is based on actual events) but it's kind of hard not to. I've tried to think back about times that maybe I did something stupid because someone told me to but the only real instance I can remember was in high school. That time I jumped off of a bridge because my friends were even though I could not swim. I trusted them to help me across the water and they did but looking back, how unbelievably stupid was that? If anything, this movie certainly begs to ask the question of how much should you listen when someone is telling you something that doesn't sound right?

Genghis Khan

Want to learn all you can about Genghis Khan facts then you should check out this blog I linked. Not only is there information about the Genghis Khan biography, but there are facts about that famous tomb everyone is searching for. In fact, I learned that since 1927 there has been quite a bit of interest from treasure seekers to find the Tomb of Genghis Khan and who wouldn't want to? There is supposedly wealth beyond imagination not to mention the historical aspects of such a find.

You might also be interested in the Genghis Khan Book that is coming out later. You can find more information on the site as well and satisfy your curiosity of all things Khan. If history is your thing, you don't want to miss this site.

Children's Fashion

If you're looking for the latest in children's fashion then you'll love Style Carnival. Not only do they have the fashion trends that both children and adults love, they do it with style boards so you can complete the entire look from start to finish.

The site is a what-to-wear guide for girls and boys where you can find jeans, shirts, dresses, tops, accessories and more with brands you love such as Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger. Instead of just looking at a certain pair of jeans or shoes, you find an entire look that is cohesive and completes the entire look.

Your kids will love it as much as you do. Check the site out for the styles that are trending right now.

New Movies

Sometimes it seems that new movies I want to see goes through this lull where there's nothing really out. That is not the case right now. There are so many movies I want to buy right now and wouldn't you know it that I don't have any Amazon.com money.

Here is a list of movies I want to own:
  • Sinister. I loved this movie! I had a chance to buy it but wanted to see it first and now I wish I'd bought it when I had a gift card. I have one friend that hated it and another that loved it so much it's one of their favorite movies now.
  • Red Dawn. I know, most people hated this movie but we loved it. Sure, it was cheesy, not accurate at all and all of that but it was fun and hey, it's not like the first one wasn't cheesy and inaccurate as well.
  • Breaking Dawn Part 2. I know, another non-favorite among the masses unless you're 12. However, I loved all of the Twilight movies and books and while you won't see me hanging out at the mall, screaming over any of the characters, I still want this movie.
  • The Believers. This is an old movie with Martin Sheen. I owned it on VHS but obviously I want it on DVD. I hope it holds up to my memory of it.
Well, at least when I do get to buy things off of my wish list I have a lot to choose from.

Speaking of Essays...

I don't mind writing an essay at all. Heck, it's what I do all day - write stuff. Whether I'm working on a fiction story or writing to make money (so those should go hand in hand but still...) I've always enjoyed writing. However, it's not for everyone. Sometimes you need a little help, especially if it's on a subject you are either bored with or unfamiliar with and simply need to get it done for a grade.

There is help available and not just for essays either. Research papers and I hate those by the way, term papers, book reports and more can have you scrambling to get finished and what you sometimes end up with is a sub-par paper that doesn't get you the grade you deserve. Why not get help from a place that helps you with your essay writing?

Not only can you get a stellar essay written but it will leave you more time to study for other classes or even spend time doing what you love to do that doesn’t include hours spent in front of a computer screen. We all need a little help sometimes and there’s nothing wrong with putting your focus where it is needed most and letting someone else do the dirty work.

Getting Back to School

I haven't been to school in over a year due to some financial issues one semester that left me owing for a class I didn't even take. Now how fair is that? However, those are the rules if you don't leave the class in person. I only cancelled the class online and since it was the last class, it had to be done in person. I wish I'd just taken the classes and came up with the money to do so, it would have been much less expensive.

I honestly don't miss school but I do need to go back since I'm very close to my bachelor's degree in Criminology. I don't mind essay writing and love taking my classes online when I can but I actually don't enjoy going to class. I guess I've gotten used to working from home and to be honest, I never did feel happy at FSU. I guess we'll see what happens in the future and hopefully I can clear this up.

Raw Diet

Our dogs are very prone to allergies and since dog food is full of grains we thought we'd try the raw diet with them. I have to say that we've been doing this for a few weeks and they are getting a much better coat because of it. They had very sparse hair on their back near their behinds and this was due to itching and scratching. Since the grains have been eliminated, it's growing in nicely and to be honest, they love the raw food diet.

Here is some information on this diet and how it works. I know we are quite pleased with it. Although it's not quite as easy as buying a bag of dog food, it definitely  works. I do have to disagree with the statement in the article about the splintered bones. Dogs are equipped to eat raw bones just fine; it's the cooked bones that splinter, not raw ones.

Network Marketing

I was just talking about network marketing and we all know how important it is. This site gives you a three step, simple way of success in a complicated, online marketing world. It is the home of automation, viral marketing and 100% commissions. If you have ever thought of doing something that allows you to work at home and be successful you should check it out and see what they have to offer. There are many people making tons of money doing the exact same thing so shouldn't you see for yourself what it is all about?

In fact, their vision is:
Our Vision at Empower Network is much different than any other company you’ll find in the marketing space, because the fuel that drives our vision is helping someone brand new make their first $100 online. We look out for the ‘little guys’ and live and die by the value we provide to our members.
It doesn't hurt to look and you may just find something you really love doing that is lucrative and successful.

Another Blog?

I'm wondering if I should do a blog for our new photography site. I mean, I already know the answer to that; a blog is a great way of networking and getting more views. Perhaps I'll add one soon so be on the lookout for that. For now, you can view our photos and learn more about our photography sessions at Karsun Designs Photography.

Research Ancestry

If you are curious about learning about your past, there are many places you can turn to but it can get a bit tedious and overwhelming. Fortunately, there is an option that allows you to have someone research ancestry for you. In fact, many places you may find only use information they can find on the Internet and besides, you can do that yourself. Turtle Trove uses many resources, including Internet searches that are hidden to the average person.

The other great benefit is that you don't have to "join" or have a membership like with other ancestry research sites. For instance, Turtle Trove utilizes ancestry.com but through them, you don't have to have a membership to ancestry.com because it's part of what they do. Documents that are found are posted to the family tree there for you to view.

Don't wait too long and let your chances get slimmer for finding out about your family history.
