Tax Time: 1040 Instructions

Most people are just now preparing their taxes and it can be a real headache to find what you need. There are many ways that you can find helpful information however such as 1040 instructions, where to find the forms you need, and more.

For instance, I recently did my own taxes and needed a form on a capital gains and losses - in my case, a loss on a house that was inherited. Fortunately, I had tax software that helped me find it and honestly, this is one of the best ways to do your own taxes because typically, you can simply use the tools and search bar and find what you need, which I did.

Some people prefer to have their taxes prepared but to be honest, I like doing them myself because I don't have to wait in line, make an appointment, or pay a tax preparer to do what I can do at home.
