Guilt by Christine Blackthron: A Review

GuiltGuilt by Christine Blackthorn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Guilt by Christina Blackthorn is an erotic BDSM dystopian/sci-fi novel. The premise is that in the past, politicians used what humans thought were elves, witches, vampires, etc as a political ploy. These were actually aliens from other planets and the aliens weren't happy with how they were treated. Their governments demanded justice for the inhumanity bestowed upon them.

The main characters are Sebastian and Alana. Sebastian has been offered to work with the government which he plans to refuse until they offer up Alana, except she's not the same girl he knew long ago. She has secrets now and can he find them out or even love her like he once did?

This is a very complex yet intriguing book. I love dystopian settings anyway so that was a plus. I was also impressed with the rich background and characterization, which must have been very difficult to pen. The world in Guilt is diverse and fully developed – so are the main and supporting characters. If you like something different, you'll love this!
