Remodeling
Or maybe it's just moving furniture around. Regardless, on Saturday night we moved a large, solid birch entertainment center into our dining room. Now it's kind of a break front and it looks great. My point is, I thought this was going to be one of those all day, hours and hours long projects and in reality it took about 2 hours to finish. I am so proud of it. Usually these projects do take forever but it looks great and wasn't that hard at all. This includes moving everything too.
Now we are one step closer to rearranging the two spare bedrooms and making them all hers and his.

California Criminal Lawyer
There are times that you may find yourself in a situation
where you need legal representation. If you are living on the west coast and
looking for a California criminal lawyer then there are a few things to keep in
mind. For instance, location is a factor. If you are living in Los Angeles for
instance, you should find a Los Angeles criminal defense lawyer. There are
other ways to decide who to inquire about, however.
You will need to know if the criminal defense attorney you
seek works in both state and federal court. This can be a determining factor
that pertains to your unique situation. At the law firm I found you may find it
interesting to know that they were named one of the top 100 Trial Lawyers in
California by the American Trial Lawyers Association and one of their lawyers
was determined the best of Los Angeles in law by Newsweek. That lawyer is Darren T. Kavinoky, who has been seen on The Insider and regularly appears
on Entertainment Tonight, Dr. Phil, NBC's Today Show, several programs on
CNN's Headline News Channel, and many other TV and radio shows. That alone
should tell you that you are dealing with a true professional.
It doesn’t matter if you are guilty of the charges or
innocent; when you are charged you need to find the best criminal defense
lawyer available – someone that can ensure that you are taken care of to the
best of their ability, which will help you find a satisfactory conclusion.
Check this law firm out if you are living in California and need the best.
Windy Days
There's something I've always wondered about. First of all, it's very windy here. However, to me the windiness is probably nothing to those of you up north. My question is, how come when it's windy here it's like 24 mph wind and when it's windy up north it's 70mph? To us, 70 mph is almost a hurricane. So how come high winds here feel like more than it does other places? If I tell a friend in NY we're having high winds they'd laugh at my 24 mph but if they tell me they are having 70 mph winds I'm like, "Wow!" I totally do not get it.

Parties and Invitations
A few years ago we threw some parties. We had a
housewarming/anniversary party and a birthday party for our dogs. Both turned
out great but wouldn’t have been possible without invitations. I mean sure, we
could have had our parties but no one would have known to come.
For our anniversary/housewarming party we had quite a crowd
and I totally loved it. We spent all day preparing hors d'oeuvres and party
food. It was then that we realized that two microwaves would have been helpful
when warming up things. (In fact, we eventually did get two of them) We had
family and friends over and we had even picked out the music to be played – a concert
from the Eagles. We figured that was safe because it was something people could
watch or listen to without distracting them or being offensive in any way.
For our dog party we only invited family over but it was
such fun. We sent out birthday invitations that had dogs on them. We bought the
dogs a special doggy cake to eat and decorated our house. I even have pictures
of the party around here. I should scan them and add them to my photo
collection. Anyway, the dogs got tons of presents and seemed to really enjoy
it. I’m not sure if they even know what a party is but they knew that there
were family members over, they had fun food and treats to eat and best of all,
they got presents.
The point is, you can make the best party plans and it can
fall apart if you don’t have invitations sent out. You can call people and
invite them but if they don’t have something as a reminder, they tend to
forget. Don’t let your celebration, party or event go unnoticed – make sure you
have the right invitations that people will remember.
Living Dead Dolls
I've never liked dolls much until I found these Living Dead Dolls. OMG, I am in love! I saw them on an episode Hardcore Pawn where a guy pawned a ton of them for just $60. Heck, many of them cost more than that just for one! Since my birthday is coming up I may snag a couple. I sure hope so. Here's one I really love so you can see what they look like.

Physics Class
Many of you know that I do not excel in math. However, I find physics fascinating and not just because of the Big Bang Theory. I just think that other dimensions, etc sounds intriguing. I think that falls under quantum physics or string theory or something equally smart sounding.
So I decided I would take an online class for beginners. Well, I started out in chapter one doing just fine - figuring out correctly which were scalars and which were vectors. Okay, so far so good. I get to chapter two on distance and displacement and that's where it ends. The math stuff kicks in and I just don't get it.
Oh well, perhaps I can figure it out eventually or maybe I should just stick with completing my learning of Spanish. At least that is working with words and I already know some of the stuff I learned and retained.

Birthdays Everywhere!
Not only is it my birthday next week but it's also the dogs' birthdays. Today we got them some stuffed animals that they love and the good part is they were super affordable. We like to pick up stuff like that after holidays so I got huge Easter animals and all for 75% off so this one rabbit that's huge was just $2.50 and Blitz loves the big animals because he hugs and treats them like a mother. The other two will only play a little bit with stuffed animals but Blitz loves them. We plan to get them some treats and things to celebrate next weekend. We once had a party for our dogs and invited people but this time it'll just be us.

No Internet
The other night I called because our Internet was running slow after an upgrade to make it faster. As soon as we did a reset the Internet quit working. Long story short, we still don't have everything. They are supposed to come out today between - wait for it - 8 AM and 9 PM. So we are stuck here all day till they come. They were supposed to come Saturday and some bright person down there put in that we did not want the Saturday appointment. We have a temporary modem so we do have Internet for this moment but no phone still since it's VOIP. This sucks. No Internet for almost 24 hours. I was like, what'd I even do in the old days before the Internet?

Today...
....has been a very productive day. What started as a slow week has turned into quite a good one today. I'm getting paid from 3 customers today so that makes up for the slow week. My mantra is, "Things will work out, they always do." And you know what, they do! You just have to believe and think positive and I'm a firm believer that it works. Hey, it did today!

Twitter anyone?
I've gotten back into using Twitter some so if you do have it then please follow me if you don't mind. I have my karsund account and shaunaklein1 as well. I don't tweet as often as I should but I do sometimes plus I have my blogs that go directly to the Twitter accounts so that helps as well. So anyway, it'd be much appreciated if you have time.

Things I'm Scared Of
Here are a few things I am scared of. You know, just for the record and all. :)
- Clowns - they hide behind makeup and masks and judging by that nightmare I had of them when I was a little girl - trees, too.
- Palmetto bugs - if you are from the south then you know them. If not, picture a huge, flying roach right from the depths of hell itself.
- Possessed people - granted, I have never seen a possessed person in real life but I've seen you all on television and movies and no thank you! Just stay wherever you are and when you're fixed, well heck, just stay where you are.
- Old timey music - Like those old songs where the guy sings through a megaphone or something and it's all warbly. Or that Aloutte song on the Target commercial. Or When Johnny Comes Marching Home sang by these crows back when I was little. It was some kind of record and it was sang by crows - I kid you not. And Tiptoe through the Tulips like in that movie, "Insidious."

Searching for Incomeathome?
Incomeathome
is a popular search term and do you know why? Well, think about it – who doesn’t
want to work from home and have the freedom to earn their living without
answering to someone directly, having to sit in traffic, deal with office
politics and worry about how you feel each day. When you search for
Incomeathome you’ll find plenty of places but this is the link you should check
out.
Not only can you earn a living at home, you can thrive. Look
at me, I decided to work at home again and things are going well. Believe me,
once you do it, you’ll never want to work outside of your home again.
Back at Home
I am working from home again and loving it. I tried working outside of my house but it was hard to get into enjoying it as much as I thought I might. I was looking forward to the benefits, being around other people, and having a schedule. I did get decent benefits at Lowes and I liked my co-workers but I did not like having a strict schedule, worrying if I was 5 minutes late and dealing with anything less than the peacefulness I found at home, working for myself.
I even went to another place of business, had the hours I wanted and an easy job and still hated it. Go figure. Either way, here I am again!

Planting Area
Since I got my little greenhouse I've wanted to have a nice little planting area. Rich had brought home a nice, big table from work. It's metal, it was free and it's perfect. Now I have my spare pots on there and my soil and peat moss, etc. After I'm done I just rinse it off with the hose. I love it and it was a free item so that's even better. Now I just have to get some little plants to put in my greenhouse since my seeds never germinated.
The National Benefit Authority
The
National Benefit Authority is a company that helps Canadian residents
apply for disability tax benefits. I’m not that familiar with Canada’s laws on
disability but from what I hear about here in the United States, it’s quite
difficult. So this is an excellent way of helping out those that need it.
The National Benefit Authority not only helps you apply for
disability tax benefits but they also have useful information such as a list of
qualifying disabilities that some may not be aware of. They also list why it is
important to hire a tax preparer when it comes to disability taxes and
information on caregiver tax credits and more! Check them out if you live in
Canada and need help.
